Postpartum Services

Ease the transition once you are home with your new one. A postpartum doula brings nurturing support into your home to ensure a well rested and relaxed mother.and family.  Regularly scheduled visits during the first few months, and beyond if needed, help you rest, recover and adjust to your new role. This can be particularly helpful when your partner heads back to work and family leaves town, or just because you know you need a nap!  Services will vary from client to client but typical services include:

*caring for the mother during her healing process  

*assisting with newborn care such as bathing, diapering, feeding and soothing 

*providing support and troubleshooting for breastfeeding

*assisting with household tasks to lighten the load  

*offering emotional and educational support- no question is too small!
